Cookies contain only a few non-nominative text characters stored in your browser, and are not executable files: they cannot host malware or viruses.
Furthermore, Paris.fr does not display any advertising, nor does it track advertising from third-party advertising agencies or social networks.
We use cookies only to improve the user experience and the way content is presented to you, by analyzing how you use Paris.fr from page to page, thanks to two solutions: Matomo and Contentsquare.

For Matomo
The Matomo software - installed on our servers - measures the audience (number of visitors, average length of visits, pages viewed, etc.).
The data collected is immediately anonymized, hosted in France, and used solely for audience measurement operated by our services, and the raw data is deleted after 13 months, as stipulated by the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD), and in accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL.
Cookies deposited by Matomo: beginning with _pk_, NSC_ and MATOMO_ (details here).
You can disable Matomo tracking by unchecking the option below (or here if the frame doesn't appear):
For Contentsquare
In a similar way, Contentsquare enables us to analyze the way Paris.fr is used, and to improve interfaces or correct potential errors.
The data collected is also anonymized, hosted in the EU, and kept for a maximum of 13 months.

  • banner_closed_at: save banner closing preference
  • cookies_compliance: save preferences for displaying external content and accepting cookies for www.paris.fr.
  • If you access Mon Paris, it also deposits cookies to maintain your connection between the city's digital services: mcpAuth, JSESSIONID, AUTH_SESSION_ID, KEYCLOAK_*.
Paris.fr also integrates external content into its pages (iframe), such as videos and maps. As these services may deposit cookies in your browser, they are only loaded when you have given your consent.
